    Makes 16 two-inch squares

    • 1½ cups American Heritage® Chocolate Sticks
    • Cream Cheese Swirl:
    • ½ cup cream cheese, broken into 8 pieces
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • ½ cup sour cream
    • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
    • Brownies:
    • ¾ cup butter
    • 1¼ cups brown sugar
    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 5 eggs
    • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 325° F.

    Step 2

    Beat the cream cheese and sugar until it is blended. Add the sour cream and flour, mix until smooth. Set aside.

    Step 3

    Melt chocolate, butter, and brown sugar together. Stir in the vanilla and eggs, and combine until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.

    Step 4

    Transfer batter to a parchment lined 8-inch square pan. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Swirl the brownie batter with the cream cheese mixture.

    Step 5

    Bake for 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into 2-inch squares.
