A scrumptious, easy recipe that feels oh so luxe! Great for sharing!

    Recipe Yield: 24 mini snowballs
    Active Time: 15 minutes
    Additional setting time: 1 hour
Note: keep snowballs in the fridge

    • 1 cup American Heritage® Finely Grated Chocolate Drink
    • Snowballs
    • 2 cups Unsweetened Desiccated Coconut
    • (Keep 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut for decoration)
    • 4 tablespoons Coconut Oil
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    • 3 tablespoons Honey
    • 2 tablespoons Coconut Milk
    • Pinch of Salt
    • Chocolate Coating
    • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    Step 1

In a large bowl, mix the desiccated coconut and the coconut oil till well blended.

    Step 2

Add the honey, vanilla extract, salt and coconut milk.

    Step 3

Chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.

    Step 4

Using your hands, make sure all the ingredients combine well to form a thick doughy consistency and make tiny balls.

    Step 5

Place in fridge for 1 hour. Once set, the balls should be very firm to the touch.

    Step 6

To make the chocolate dip, heat the coconut oil, vanilla extract and chocolate powder over a low heat. Stir continually to be sure the chocolate is smooth.

    Step 7

Remove from heat and allow to cool for few minutes.

    Step 8

Dip each snowball gently into the chocolate and sprinkle with the leftover coconut.

    Step 9

Set in fridge to harden (approx. 1 hour) and serve!
*If you want a thicker chocolate coating, allow first coat to dry and dip them again

    Step 10

    Variation 1)
For a crunchy center place a whole hazelnut in the middle of the snowball when making the balls.

    Variation 2)
For a slightly less chocolaty snowball, lightly dust the coconut ball with AMERICAN HERITAGE® Chocolate Drink Mix instead of dipping chocolate.
