    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup water
    • Fruitcake Shake:
    • 1/2 cup dried fruit, coarsely chopped
    • (cherries, pineapple, apricots, dates, raisins,
    • orange)
    • 1 tablespoon non-alcoholic rum extract
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • Pinch nutmeg
    • Pinch allspice
    • 2-3 scoops chocolate ice cream
    Step 1

To make chocolate syrup, combine half the water and sugar in saucepan and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Add in the chocolate until it dissolves, then add in the remaining water and sugar – add in slowly until you get the right consistency, you may not need all the water. Cover and cool chocolate syrup in fridge for 30-45 minutes.

    Step 2

In a small bowl, place dried fruit, rum extract, vanilla extract and top up with warm water until fruit is just covered. Place in fridge with chocolate syrup to cool for 30-45 minutes.

    Step 3

In blender, puree the fruit with the milk, 1/4 cup AMERICAN HERITAGE® Chocolate syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.

    Step 4

Add ice cream and blend until frothy
