    Red Velvet Candy Cane Cake Pops

    • 1 Cups American Heritage® Finely Grated Chocolate Drink
    • 18 lollipop sticks
    • 1 block of Styrofoam
    • 1 box red velvet cake mix, baked according
    • to directions in 13 x 9 pan
    • ¼ cup cream cheese frosting
    • 6 peppermint candy canes, 4 ground fine
    • and 2 crushed
    Step 1

    Crumble red velvet cake into a bowl and add cream cheese frosting and the finely ground candy canes. Mix well. Add more frosting if needed.

    Step 2

    Form into 1 inch balls. Place on parchment-covered cookie sheet. Place in freezer until firm.

    Step 3

    In a double boiler, melt chocolate powder. Dip end of lollipop stick in chocolate and insert into cake balls. Return to freezer.

    Step 4

    Working a few at a time, dip frozen cake pop into melted chocolate. Sprinkle with crushed candy cane. Stick into Styrofoam until set.

    Step 5

    Keep frozen until ready to serve. Defrost for about 15 minutes.
