    • 24 oz American Heritage® Collectible Tin
    • 1 (14 oz. can) sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    • Wooden sticks
    • 24-28 large marshmallows
    • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
    Step 1

Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.

    Step 2

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the sweetened condensed milk and cream, stirring frequently, until the mixture just begins to simmer. Turn heat to low and add the grated chocolate. Let sit for about 5 minutes, or until chocolate is soft.

    Step 3

Whisk the chocolate into the milk and cream mixture until it is smooth and shiny (mixture will be thick). Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and evenly smooth the top.

    Step 4

Loosely cover the pan and let it sit at room temperature until set (may take up to 6 hours).

    Step 5

Run a knife around the edge of the pan and lift the chocolate out using the parchment paper. Cut the chocolate into 1 1/4 inch cubes. If needed, heat the knife under hot water and wipe dry between cuts.

    Step 6

Insert a stick into a large marshmallow, followed by a chocolate square. Dip the bottom of the chocolate square in crushed peppermint candies.

    Step 7

Wrap individually and store for 4-5 days at room temperature, or 7-10 days in the refrigerator. Freeze for longer storage.

    Step 8

To make hot cocoa, stir one cube of chocolate into 1 cup of hot milk until melted.
